Division
- Heat-tempered glass - tempered - breaks into small, unsharp fragments when broken
- Laminated glass - laminated - is created by layering two or more glasses, between which there is a PVB (polyvinyl butyral) film - after breaking, the fragments remain glued to the film
- Laminated safety glass provides protection not only against injury, but also against burglary, explosion and armed attacks.
- Basic building glass has a slightly green tint. With a larger size or load, the thickness of the glass increases and the green color intensifies. Given that large-scale glazing is typical for today's architecture, the demand for extra clear glass is increasing.
