We process selected granites using modern technologies and each slab undergoes rigorous quality control. Natural granite stands out for its extraordinary hardness, high resistance to load, pressure and high temperatures.
It stands out best on large surfaces such as kitchen worktops, kitchen islands, dining tables or interior tiles.
Given the natural micro-porosity of granite, we recommend impregnating the surface, which will increase its resistance to absorption and facilitate routine maintenance.
Each slab of natural granite is an original – and just like its pattern and structure, its dimensions are also influenced by the natural origin of the material. It is therefore necessary to allow for a certain dimensional tolerance when it comes to slabs.
The guaranteed slab format ranges from 1,200 × 2,225 mm to 1,900 × 3,500 mm. We produce granite worktops in thicknesses of 20 and 30 mm and are available in three surface finishes.
For a perfect final appearance, we offer various edge processing options – grinding at different radii or angles, including the option of bottom polishing of the protruding parts of the worktop.
Surface treatment can significantly affect the appearance and properties of natural granite. At Polystone, we offer several processing methods that can make granite look elegant, modern, and distinctly natural.
Polished granite stands out for its high shine, which highlights its natural pattern and color. Special resins suitable for contact with food are used during processing, which help to close the pores of the surface.
A matte brushed surface allows the natural colors and structure of granite to stand out without a pronounced shine. Since the surface is more porous, we recommend its additional impregnation for better protection and easier maintenance.
3D surface emphasizes the natural veining and structure of the stone. The relief creates a tangible effect that highlights the authentic character and uniqueness of each granite slab.
