SapienStone® slabs are made from ceramic clays and mineral pigments. Thanks to this unique production process, the slabs do not change under the influence of heat, light or chemical cleaning agents.

SapienStone® consists of 40% recycled material and the resulting product is 100% recyclable. The production of ActiveCeramics produces 33g of NOx emissions per 1m2. This volume of emissions ActiveCeramics removes from the air in 2 years.

From a practical point of view, SapienStone® is a hygienic, non-absorbent surface that allows direct contact of the worktop with food.

The SapienStone® surface is also naturally resistant to thermal shock, so hot pots and pans can be safely placed on the worktop.

ActiveSurface - a patented additive after firing the ceramic ensures that the surface has unique properties in the areas of Antibacterial/Antiviral, Anti-Pollution, Self-Cleaning and Anti-Odour. Unlike nano coatings, which degrade over time and pose a health risk when inhaled (TiO2 - nanoform and titanium white), ActiveSurface uses micro particles (to protect workers during production), which are then bonded to the ceramic at a temperature of 640°C. This prevents degradation of the declared properties and the associated possible health risks.
